Important Notice: Boost & Move Checking Account Migration

Published: 06/21/2021

Since Missouri Valley Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution, we have the luxury of being able to do what is best for you here on Main Street, not what is best for the small group of suit-wearing investors on Wall Street.

Every decision we make is to benefit you, the member owners of our credit union.

In a recent review, we found that very few members are utilizing the benefits offered with our Move and Boost Checking account. Due to the cost of offering these services and the lack of usage, we feel eliminating this expense is in the best interest of all members.

With that said, we’re writing to let you know that as of July 31, 2021 your current checking account will be moved to our “Always Free Checking” account. This will be a seamless transition and requires no action on your part. No worries. Your debit card, direct deposits, online BillPay, online/mobile banking access and all the other convenient features of your Checking account will remain the same. As the name denotes, you also will no longer be subject to a monthly service charge. Additionally, your Boost Checking account will no longer receive a monthly dividend.

If you want to learn about ways to continue to earn interest on your deposits, we will gladly meet with you one on one to determine the best option for you. Whether that option is another product with our Missouri Valley FCU, or a product offered by another financial institution that shares our values, we simply want the best for you and your individual financial needs.

Our goal is to seek out and provide the products and services that enrich your life. You can help by telling us what kind of financial products you want and expect from your Credit Union. Hearing from you would be awesome.

We value your membership and commitment to the credit union and hope you understand we are here for your success.

Sincerely,

Joshua Rodriguez, President & CEO
